Located at 252 Bal Bay Drive, the Bal Harbour estate was designed by architect Chad Oppenheim with landscaping by Fernando Wong. The residence boasts 13,800 square feet, seven bedrooms, an infinity pool overlooking Biscayne Bay and a private yacht dock. Listing agent Oren Alexander of Douglas Elliman Real Estate said that the stye of the home is ‘urban subtropical modern’ with courtyards and sliding glass doors that open to outdoor living spaces, creating 20,000 square feet of total livable space. The home is complete with facial-recognition technology to unlock the front door. Oren told the Wall Street Journal that the home is ‘very James Bond-ish’. See WSJ Post
The mansion is offered fully furnished and includes a 1948 Jaguar XK120, a 55-foot VanDutch yacht and Andy Warhol’s ‘Unknown Woman’. It can also be purchased unfurnished for $36M.
Oren Alexander developed the home with his father, Shlomy, who in 2012 set a record for a single-family house in Miami-Dade County when he sold a home for $47M in Indian Creek Village. Oren Alexander and his brother, Tal are the listing agents for this Bal Harbour property.
