Big news for Manalapan and Delray Beach with the soon-to-be arrival of a Publix market and Whole Foods 365 market. According to the Real Deal, construction has begun on a Publix supermarket in Manalapan and a Whole Foods 365 grocery store is in the works for Delray Beach. Both markets will offer beach area residents a convenient option for grocery shopping.
The Real Deal online article from June 24, 2017 reports that the 28,000 square foot Publix is expected to open in approximately a year. The market’s arrival is part of the redevelopment of the Plaza del Mar shopping center in Manalapan. Other tenants include Chico’s, Evelyn & Arthur, John G’s and The Ice Cream Club. See Full Article
The Real Deal also announced in its July 9, 2017 post that Whole Foods is planning to open a Whole Foods Market 365 in Delray Beach at the Delray Plaza shopping center at 660 West Linton Boulevard. This convenient location is between South Federal Highway and Interstate 95. If all goes according to plan, the 30,000 square feet grocery store could open in early 2019. See Full Article
