According to Robb Report, over 10,000 pieces from the iconic Ritz Paris will be auctioned off this April. Artcurial will be organizing the auction which will be held from April 17 through 21 and feature pieces from the hotel’s 120 years in business. See Robb Report article
The Ritz Paris reopened in 2016 after being closed for over four years for a full renovation. The hotel originally opened in 1989 and hosted visitors from around the globe including the designer, Coco Chanel who had her own suite for over 30 years. Furnishings to be auctioned off include pieces from the Coco Chanel Suite, a large Louis XV-style chandelier and the first en-suite bathtub ever installed at a hotel. See Auction Details
